It has been a while since I have posted and a lot has happened since then. I found out at the end of October that I would be laid off at the end of November. It wasn't completely unexpected, but it was still kind of a shock. I've had a few interviews but no offers so far. I am very happy though to be getting to spend so much time with Claire. It is truly priceless.

We spent two wonderful weeks in NY for Claire's first Christmas. We spent time with both the Christys and Jennys and Claire got to meet her uncles, great-grandmas and great-grandpa and lots of great-aunts, great-uncles, second cousins and family friends. She enjoyed getting to see her grandparents and Aunt Kristen again.

Claire is growing up so fast. She is eating rice cereal and baby food vegetables. She can wave (sometimes), and she just started to crawl. She has two teeth! She is developing more of a personality everyday. She enjoys reading books and playing with stuffed animals. Aunt Kristen gave her a Curious George doll for Christmas and he is her favorite toy. She smiles and lets out a joyful squeal whenever she sees him.
